There are 3 methods to bid at auction, in addition to bidding live online.
Online bidding: when can I bid online?
Find out more about online bidding options.
Online bidding is available for both live and timed auctions.
You can participate in our auctions online by placing absentee or live bids via Invaluable.com.. You will need to register in advance. Please note that Invaluable.com registration is separate from our direct Deutscher and Hackett registrations for in person, telephone and absentee bidding.
First-time users will be required to register with Invaluable.com in order to obtain a pre-approval status. Deutscher and Hackett recommends clients register at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of the auction. Once registered, clients will automatically be pre-approved for online bidding on all future Deutscher and Hackett auctions broadcast via Invaluable.com.

Find out more about telephone bidding
How does telephone bidding work and why would you use it?
Deutscher and Hackett offer a complimentary telephone bidding service on all works at auction, allowing clients to actively bid via phone without attending the auction.
Telephone bids should be booked and confirmed well in advance of the auction and no later than two hours prior to timed online auctions or twenty four hours prior to live auctions.
If you would like to place a telephone bid please complete the telephone bid form. You will be phoned during the auction, approximately 4 lots prior to the lot you wish to bid on, by an experienced Deutscher and Hackett phone bidder. The phone bidder will relay the auction’s bidding progress and if instructed will bid on your behalf.

Find out more about Absentee Bidding
How does absentee bidding work and why would you use it?
Deutscher and Hackett accepts absentee bids on all works at auction, allowing clients to bid without attending the auction.
An absentee bid is the maximum hammer price that the auctioneer acting as your representative can bid up to on your behalf. The auctioneer will purchase the work on your behalf for the lowest bid amount possible. If you would like to place an absentee bid please complete the absentee bid form.
