This work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Warlayirti Artists that states: ‘Boxer has painted his country called Kitjingarra, which is along the central sections of Sturt Creek, or Purkitji, north of Balgo. The central cross design depicts the main channel of purkitji as it runs through this country, while the numerous smaller channels are also shown, draing into the main channel.’
