Catalogue text

This work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Papunya Tula Artists which states in part: 'The roundels in this painting represent the claypans at the site of Muyinga, slightly west of the Kintore Community. In mythological times a group of Tingari men camped at this site as they travelled towards the west, eventually passing through Ngurrapulangu, Umari and Wala Wala. The lines depict the tali (sandhills) that surround the sites.'
