Catalogue text

The original certificate from Alcaston Gallery states in part: 'The white breasted sea eagle, Ngak Ngak is often shown singly or as a repeated image; he acts as a sentinel looking around Munduwalawalas mothers country. Garimala, depicted as two travelling creator snakes, travel the land around the Four Archers. The Limmen Bight River, the artists homeland Wamungu and Maria island lagoon surrounded by bark shelters occupied by the artists ancestors are all part of the artists iconography.'
