This painting is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Papunya Tula Artists, Alice Springs, which states in part: 'This painting depicts designs associated with the rockhole site of Lupulnga, south of the Kintore community. A group of women visited the site during their travels north to Kintore. The lines through the work represent spun hair which is used to make hair-string skirts which are worn by the women during ceremonies'.
